In this technically challenging role as a C software engineer you will join a specialist kernel development team working on the design and development of new features; debugging of issues that may be complex in nature and span multiple components; making speed/quality improvements; and potentially representing the development team on Open Source mailing lists.
As the Graduate Software Developer you will have an excellent technical degree and significant project experience developing software in C. Ideally your first degree is Computer Science related. Alternatively you have gone on to complete a PhD involving a significant amount of C coding.
Any experience with the following is a plus:
- Experience working in an Open Source development model
- Development on a Linux platform
- Understanding of Linux kernel internals, performance analysis and networks
This opportunity will give you exposure at all levels of software development from low level interfacing to hardware right up to application designing.
