This established, highly regarded company specialises in developing innovative solutions for clients worldwide. This innovative team has in-depth experience of working in the demanding regulatory life science sector. With continued growth they now seek a highly experienced Principal Consultant to develop new medical devices by drawing on their extensive insight and technical knowledge.

This senior role will manage multiple client relationships and making technical contributions at all stages of product development. You will use your insight and knowledge to extend the teams' skills and manage projects, key stakeholders providing technical and product leadership.

With extensive commercial experience, you will have a passion for and deep understanding of mechanical engineering, gained through development of medical technologies, products or devices; experience of developing demanding mechanical products, ideally mass-produced precision mechanisms; a track record of successfully leading ambitious R&D projects, including managing all aspects of client (or internal client) communications; have evidence of technical creativity and enterprising spirit, ideally demonstrated by having linked unmet needs to novel technology solutions; and evidence of both client-directed and self-directed innovation. Your academic qualifications will be equally impressive and will include at least a 2.1 (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, from a leading university (i.e. strong A level grades as well).
