Consultant Physicist (23316)

Our client is expanding rapidly; their multidisciplinary project teams of scientists and engineers develop innovative solutions over a range of consumer areas, from the design and development of iconic new products to re-architecting manufacturing processes. As an enthusiastic physicist/scientist, you will revel in the opportunity to work in a variety of complex products and processes.

Key to this role is previous experience in a cutting-edge technology organisation. You will be a hands-on physicist who will explore new technologies and innovations, happy to add to your skills portfolio. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will also work in tandem with other scientists and engineers.

The requirements are:-

  • Commercial experience in a high-tech R & D role with hands-on, practical development
  • Good degree in Physics or Natural Sciences from a highly world-ranked university
  • Preferably a PhD in the field of optics, fluidics, sensing and measurement technologies or new materials
  • Good communicator, able to build relationships with colleagues and clients

In addition, experience of complex product development and reliability engineering will be of interest.
