This expanding technical consultancy seeks a mechanical engineer with excellent scientific understanding and hands-on practical acumen. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging technical problems as part of a company who will nourish your career development. Our client develops innovative high-precision mechanical products and systems for a range of blue-chip companies, working at all project stages from concept through design, prototype build and test and implementation.

You should be able to demonstrate some experience in mechanical design of high-precision devices or product development. Candidates with knowledge of microfluidics and/or micro-thermal technologies would be of particular interest, as would those who can display an enthusiasm for engineering through their outside projects.

Candidates will have an excellent Master’s degree (1st or 2.1 from a world-ranked top 20 university) in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with As and A*s at A level followed by some industrial experience; alternatively you may have just completed a PhD.
