Superb opportunity for an experimental physicist to join this selective technical consultancy designing innovative solutions ranging from drug delivery devices and cryosurgery to fluids management in consumer products.

This growing client seeks an experimental physicist with an impressive academic background and hands-on practical ability. You will work with a team of highly talented mechanical engineers and experimental physicists in a collaborative working environment.

The minimum academic background required is a 1st / 2.1 in Experimental Physics from a world ranked top 20 university (with As/A*s at A level); in addition, you must demonstrate commercial experience or relevant PhD research.

Candidates with the following experience would be of particular interest:-

  • Microfluidics
  • Micro-thermal technologies
  • Cryogenics
  • MEMS sensors
  • Viscous fluids and foams
  • Membranes

And, desired attributes are:-

  • Practical hands-on experience in building experimental test rigs
  • Long-standing enthusiasm for engineering as evidenced through outside projects.
