Python Developer / Linux Platforms (23553)

Experienced Python developers are sought by an exciting Cambridge-based company to work on medical healthcare technologies. Their technology is used in hospitals and research centres to maintain local environments to guarantee the viability and security of therapeutic biomaterials and cell cultures. With a number of successful products on the market, they are seeking to grow their team of developers and engineers to develop new capabilities and offerings and expand their portfolio.

They are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join their dynamic and talented team. Candidates will need to demonstrate key skills to be considered for this position, including:

• an excellent academic background, with at least a 2.1 in Computer Science (or similar numerate degree);
• commercial experience developing in Python in a Linux/UNIX-based environment. You’ll have written structured and clean code that’s easy to debug;
• exposure or familiarity with C or C++ would be beneficial, ideally in resource-constrained applications;
• confidence working in a modern dev environment (Agile or similar) to tight deadlines.

Familiarity working in regulated environments (medical devices, aerospace, defence, or similar) will be a big plus.
