Our client is looking for a Senior Software Systems Analyst with a background in software development who is able to work alongside customers, delivering solutions to their specific requirements in a range of industries from retail to film and TV.

As the Senior Software Systems Analyst you will work with the deployment team to match customers’ specifications, identifying their business needs and developing workflow models. A background in software programming is required, with some hands-on experience of a modern programming language (Java, C#, C++).

You will work in an informal but professional, small company environment, based in pleasant modern offices and where your contribution will be valued. The client is keen to encourage a technical path where you can retain hands-on development whilst progressing your career.

You'll have a relevant computer science, maths, physics or engineering degree and commercial experience in a similar IT or engineering based role.

A desire to continually develop your skills and an ability to work under pressure of deadlines and within a team environment are essential.

The following skills are of interest:

  • Excellent foundation in software development and deployment
  • Knowledge of a modern programming language e.g. Java, C#, C++
  • Understanding of HTML , JavaScript, XML
  • Familiarity with the .NET framework
