This growing, highly successful company designs, develops and manufactures high precision products consisting of mechanical, electronics and software elements used in cutting edge industrial systems. This role is to join an extremely talented team of mechanical, software, firmware and electronics engineers to continue their leading edge industrial driven technology.
They are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is achievable in order to maintain their market lead, and they hold valuable and protected IP on some of the technologies they use. This role is to design and build components to complement their current product range. There is opportunity to get involved in the complete system, however your core skill will most likely be mechanical design.
You will be familiar with a range of technologies including:
- Mechanical design
- SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
- Control systems especially for mechanical systems
- Fluid flow
- A demonstrable interest in electronics and software
You will be an exceptional engineer with a very good degree in a technical discipline (e.g. mechanical or applied physics) from a world leading university. You will be ready to be involved in all phases of the product development life cycle, and will be expected to take an active hand in the design and development of new products from concept through to manufacture. From time to time you may need to work directly with your customers to assist them in integrating your components into their system.
