Software Developer: QA tools + architecture (23586)
This pioneering technical powerhouse has been at the forefront of technical R&D in the UK for decades. Their products have found success across a number of industries, ranging from medical diagnostic technologies or secure communications equipment, through to high-value consumer goods or the latest machine learning applications to solve complex problems.
With a growing and ambitious software team, they are now seeking an experienced Software Developer to work on custom-built automated QA and test development for a variety of projects.
Candidates will need to demonstrate:
- a solid academic background, with a 2.1 or above in Computer Science (or similar) from a top-ranked university (i.e. good A-level grades too);
- solid commercial experience in software test development and creation of flexible and scalable test frameworks from scratch;
- fluency with at least Python and C coding, though other languages will be beneficial too;
- good knowledge of automation tools, modern development practices and source control.
Writing code that is designed to break other code and programs will be your passion, and you’ll have a keen and inquisitive mind to push other developers’ code right to the limit. Additional interests or experience with IoT technologies or embedded software would be a great plus.
