This growing company specialises in the design and development of software and hardware solutions for machines processing data at video speeds. This new role is for an Applications Support Engineer to join their expanding FAE team providing customer facing software support via email and phone.

Along with colleagues you will act as the first point of contact for technical customer requests. These may result in significant investigation into issues raised, during this period you will need to use your strong problem-solving written and spoken English skills to work with the customer to find the root cause of the issue.

As the Applications Support Engineer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to develop your existing software and/or hardware skills. You may already have commercial experience from a test role where you have worked closely with a development team. Alternatively you might have a recent technical degree with some hands-on software or electronics development.

You will have an overall understanding of software, electronics and mechanics and an enthusiasm for engineering projects. Our client will be particularly impressed by evidence of your ability to think clearly and logically and apply this to acquiring new skills.
