This pioneering company are a small, specialist but highly successful consultancy specialising in product innovation for a top tier global client base. Due to expansion they are seeking a VP of Business Development to join their team.

They are looking for:

  • A broad and deep engineering background, spanning a diversity of technical fields. Their consultancy takes them into new areas on a regular basis. They are seeking people who are technologists at heart and have a long standing interest in innovation: one project might be in RF / NFC electronics, the next in applied cryptography, the next in novel uses of new materials.
  • A strong track record of business development with “blue chip” companies, including evidence of successful liaison and closure with executive teams at FTSE 100 companies.
  • A good understanding, and past experience, of IP and IP development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including brevity and clarity, as evidenced in your short and targeted CV.

The company has Cambridge, London and Switzerland offices so you should expect to divide your time between them as well as in business travel to meet companies.

Joining them, you would become part of a select but close-knit team, working together and without “red tape”, doing business with major players in world-class innovation.
