Our client is a well-respected technical consultancy team that exists at that interface of scientific research and commercial products. They serially translate science into applied technology with their innovative solutions and practical approach to development.

They are looking for a hands-on scientist to join them and lend their expertise and experience in developing new products for the medical device industry.

Requirements:

  • Excellent academic pedigree – 1st or high 2.1 in Applied Physics or Natural Sciences from a top tier university.
  • Postgraduate experience either through a relevant PhD or commercial project work.
  • Project experience in the development of medical devices or scientific instrumentation based on optics / fluidics. Specific experience in scientific sensing development or algorithm development will be desirable.

Note this is an applied role. Applicants looking for a research role or can only express a research background will not be shortlisted.
