High-tech recruitment experts ECM are seeking a Research Assistant to find top calibre candidates for our clients, and to help run the office.
Working with a recruitment consultant, your job will involve researching for suitable candidates and contacting them by phone or email. (No 'cold calling' will be involved because you will be dealing with applicants already registered on our database.)
You will also cover for our Office Manager when she is out of the office or needs extra help dealing with emails, answering the phone and typing. So you’ll be a confident user of Microsoft Office (especially Word) and preferably a touch typist. You'll be representing our company, so you will need an excellent telephone manner and good written English.
Because we are recruiting for cutting-edge positions, it would help if you have an interest in new technologies. You will likely be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a numerate subject.
It’s important too that you are self-reliant and don’t need ‘micro management’, but you’ll receive on-the-job training to help you quickly become effective.
