Are you a motivated and enthused theoretical physicist who enjoys developing computational models? Come and join our client’s team, working in a vibrant and rewarding environment where your work will contribute to a cleaner world in the future.

To contribute successfully to this existing highly-qualified team, you will have a good foundational understanding of numerical physics approaches. You will be able to use this understanding to develop accurate computational models of complex systems to inform the experimental team.

In this role, you will work with a talented team of physicists and engineers on cutting-edge development which is leading to breakthroughs in fusion power generation?

Requirements:

  • Good first degree in physics (or similar) from a top-ranked world class university; a relevant PhD would also be of interest
  • Excellent knowledge of theoretical physics
  • Good experience of computational modelling; knowledge of C++ would be beneficial
  • Enthusiasm and desire to work in a transformational real-world team environment
