This award-winning and very successful company is an industry leader in real-time animation and rendering technologies, working with ‘A-list’ development companies in the video games sector. Due to increasing popularity of their product and new R&D projects in the pipeline, they are looking for an experienced C++ developer to join their team, based in a prime location just outside the M25.
Candidates should have a strong academic background, with a 2.1 or above in Computer Science (or similar) from a top-ranked university, and good A-level grades too. On top of that, CVs must demonstrate:
- successful C++ development experience in an Agile commercial environment;
- a good knowledge of applied 3D maths / geometry for 3D animation;
- familiarity with common rendering and animation environments (Maya / 3DS Max, Unity / Unreal, OpenGL / DirectX etc.);
- a structured work ethic with experience of code optimisation and multi-threading for graphics environments.
On offer is the opportunity to work with a recognised and respected industry name, contributing to the next generation of real-time animation and rendering software. The company’s tools have received overwhelmingly positive reviews for ultra-realistic and detailed animation which can be rendered in real-time, recently being included in a number of critically acclaimed titles.
Coupled with a strong remuneration package, this is an excellent opportunity if you’re seeking a new challenge and want to work at the cutting edge of computer animation in the games industry.
