stay current and enjoy your work with this scientific software company

Are you following the latest developments in C#? With C# 7, and .NET Core and .NET Standard reaching 2.x plus Microsoft acquiring Xamarin, it’s the right time to join a forward-looking company. Keep your skills current and cut new code rather than maintaining legacy desktop apps.

This Cambridge scientific software company are keen to find C# developers who are capable of complex “green field” projects, and smart enough to get stuck into an existing well-architected system and make changes judiciously. They’re running modern TypeScript and Angular 5 in the browser, and a smart service-oriented platform, powered by ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server in private clouds. VS 2017, Resharper, a full MSDN subscription and all the other tools you need will be provided.

As a key part of a 40 strong development team, your ideas and your ability will be valued. The company has a relaxed culture with flexible, full-time working, and a prime office location (with parking) in the centre of Cambridge.

To be considered, you’ll need a good degree in computing or a related subject from a reputable university, full UK work permission, and a short CV that really showcases your abilities. Please do include GitHub links, details of personal projects, and anything else with which you’d like to impress.

Interested? Send your CV to ECM Selection; whilst we can only put forward the top few candidates, we do read every CV and try to respond to everyone. Or recommend a friend for £250, details at http://ecmselection.co.uk/tell-a-friend.

Please note: even if you don't have exactly the background indicated, do contact us now if this type of job is of interest - we may well have similar opportunities that you would be suited to. And of course, we always get your permission before submitting your CV to a company.
