- A minimum academic achievement of a 2.1 degree in mechanical engineering (or similar) from a top class world-ranked university (including top grades in pre-university education)
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for finding innovative solutions to engineering challenges, as evidenced through your major project work or relevant internships
- Ability to contribute to a cross-discipline team, with particular reference to innovative product design
- Ability to apply physics principles and engineering analysis to product design and development
