Talented Software Developer (24214)

A London startup with 18 months’ success is seeking a promising developer, not easily intimidated, to take on a key role critical to their future endeavours.

Working alongside the CTO, you’ll take on a lot of responsibility for their pioneering platform, which makes use of proper software engineering acumen and machine learning to make data accessible, organised and to match it effectively.

This is a “full stack” position for an experienced developer. You will have experience with, or an interest in: JavaScript development (Node.js server side, and React in the browser) along with modern JS build systems (Gulp) and Docker containers. Systems are cloud hosted so AWS, Azure or Google Cloud are relevant. You’ll be accustomed to working with data and keen on Agile processes. The company is able to consider “self-starter” software engineers looking to move into these specific areas. Machine learning experience is a plus.

As a person you’ll need a "can-do”, convivial attitude, and you’ll be open to collaboration as well as be someone able to take an idea and run with it, producing work which goes in a given direction but using your own creativity and energy to make it great, to spot and address difficulties, and deliver on time.

You’ll also have a good degree from a top (Russell Group or equivalent) university, backed by strong A-level grades; and full permission to live and work in the UK without time limit, restriction or sponsorship.
