Lead Product Designer (24259)

Our client, an innovative high-tech product company in the field of optics and augmented reality is seeking a Senior Product Designer to oversee prototyping and development of their latest technology. This is a great career progression opportunity and will involve client contact, team and supplier management, as well as hands-on design and considerable involvement in the development process.

Required skills and attributes:

• A good degree in mechanical engineering or closely related subject from a leading university.
• Demonstrably excellent CAD and product design skills and understanding of industry best practice.
• Strong team management and customer-facing skills.
• Full permission to work in the UK.

Experience of working with the following is desirable: Rubbers, plastics, optical components, fluids, membranes, ultrasonic welding, ISO 13485.
