Lead Implementation Engineer (CAD / PDM) (24264)

This progressive engineering company is looking to recruit an experienced Implementation Engineer to take a lead position in supporting their engineering and design teams. The role is to maintain and implement and configure critical business tools such as Creo, SolidWorks and associated PDM systems. Central to the position will be to take ownership of in-house projects for software customisations / configurations and driving new technology / tool uptake.

Requirements:

  • Extensive background in administrating and using CAD tools and databases (including installation, configuration, implementation and maintenance).
  • Broad range of CAD / PDM systems experience (including Creo and SolidWorks).
  • Project experience in software evaluation, upgrades, risk assessment and impact analysis.
  • Good appreciation of QA implications for CAD / PDM use within a regulated environment.

This is both a technical role and consultative position, so good communication skills are essential. Similarly, a good eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem solving is required.
