Superb opportunity for a Computer Vision Developer with excellent software skills to work on cutting-edge challenges for security-related projects that genuinely contribute to people's safety.

Our client works on a range of in-depth problems, primarily in the security and defence sector. The unique nature and diversity of projects within the company requires thoughtful and inspired work from the current cross-discipline team. This new role of Computer Vision Developer reflects the complex and novel systems being developed.

You should have a 1st or 2.1 degree from a top-ranked university in a relevant technical subject and, ideally, a PhD focusing on computer vision or image processing. You must also have strong coding skills in Python or C++. Candidates who can demonstrate their interest in developing new skills and expertise during their own personal projects are of particular interest, for instance those who are active contributors to the open source community.

The field of work means that UK security clearance will be required.

Working alongside similarly well-qualified engineers, you will have freedom to pursue areas of work that are of interest to you. The directors are keen to encourage their engineers and researchers to develop their technical skills and contribute new ideas.
