Business Development Manager (24326)

Roving, SE or NE England
to £highly competitive + benefits
Filled

business development, software, travel, south east or north east region coverage

If you have a technical background in software engineering, and you’ve experience in business development, this roving role would offer responsibility for new business across a substantial geographical segment of the UK.

The company is an ISV based in Edinburgh, with a global client base. Their software systems are key to small business operations, providing vital and easy to use solutions. This is smart software developed with an Agile process and a focus on usability and accessibility.

You’ll have a good degree in computing or a related subject from a top university, and 3+ years’ business development experience in the industry with a proven track record of results. You’ll be happy to travel, since much of your time will be spent working with geographically distributed clients – you’ll periodically visit the Edinburgh office, and work remotely.

This is a role with a lot of independence, managing your own itinerary, meeting monthly targets, and reporting regularly and precisely as to progress. Insights you learn dealing with clients are important and you’ll feed these back to the development team.
