With this well-established company who are now looking to develop further markets for their highly sophisticated technology.
Our client has developed a ‘toolbox’ of technologies that they currently use to produce one-off specials and short runs of high value analytical instruments. They are looking to exploit an opportunity – due to securing new investment – to use their technology to move towards an ‘off the shelf’ model, narrowing down to a well-defined product range.
In this challenging role you will therefore be involved in firming up long-term strategic goals, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, setting up and working with business partners, and negotiating and closing business deals.
As part of your fact finding, you will liaise with existing customers, participate in exhibitions and conferences, and work closely with our client’s product and application experts with the goal of optimising their offerings to customers. Some international travel can be expected.
You will be degree qualified in a science or engineering subject, with a proven track record in the sales of highly technical products. This would include a systematic and professional sales approach (including pricing strategies), funnel management and contract negotiation, ideally with some experience of international sales.
