As the Applications Support Engineer you will have the enthusiasm and drive to develop your existing software and/or hardware skills. You may already have commercial experience from a test role where you have worked closely with a development team. Alternatively you might have a recent technical degree with some hands-on software or electronics development.

You will have an overall understanding of software, electronics and mechanics and an enthusiasm for engineering projects. Our client will be particularly impressed by evidence of your ability to think clearly and logically and apply this to acquiring new skills.

This growing, highly successful company designs, develops and manufactures electronics and software for high precision, cutting edge industrial systems. This new role is for an Applications Support Engineer to join their expanding FAE team providing customer facing software support via email and phone.
You will join an extremely talented team of software, mechanical and electronics engineers.

Along with colleagues you will act as the first point of contact for technical customer requests. These may result in significant investigation into issues raised, during this period you will need to use your strong problem-solving written and spoken English skills to work with the customer to find the root cause of the issue.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with this fast moving company, which encourages internal career progression. You will be working closely with the development team.
