This is a superb opportunity for a talented Applications Engineer to join an exciting and highly motivated team, bringing to market a new and compelling EDA technology.

As an effective Applications Engineer, you must have good knowledge of hardware design and verification languages including Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog and others. You will act as the conduit between customers and software engineers, dealing with technical support issues; this could be via phone, email or at a customer’s site.

Alongside technical support to customers, you will also work with Marketing to determine future product direction; and the Sales team to support technical sales campaigns. You will be a keen and clear communicator, with the ability to deliver workshops and training courses.

Requirements:-

  • A minimum of BEng in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science is required.
  • Experience of Verification environments, such as UVM, SystemVerilog, SystemC or Specman/e would be of particular interest.
  • Excellent communication skills and a solid “commercial bent”, you will have an impressive ability to deliver technical presentations as part of the pre-sales process.

The role will include travel to evaluations at customer locations throughout Europe and occasionally to USA.
