Automation Engineer (24426)
This award-winning company seek an experienced automation engineer with software engineering experience, also capable of running automated hardware tests which are driven by software. The company produce connected interactive devices, wired and wireless, for high-end use, for people on the move and in VR. They are successful (consumer and business) product company with a global presence, making own-brand electronics products people use and enjoy.
Your CV will demonstrate your:
- Degree (1st or 2:1) in computing or an engineering subject from a good university, and strong A-level grades.
- Good scripting skills with Python, an understanding of object-oriented principles, and ideally exposure to C++.
- Experience with tools such as Pylint as well as source control (Git or Subversion) and build tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience in hardware testing via simulation and software interfacing with hardware.
In terms of hardware testing, relevant areas include setting up and running hardware tests which operate via JTAG and higher level communications protocols. You'll be someone who isn't intimated by being around high tech hardware, and you may even have made use of oscilloscopes or logic analysers yourself for data capture or signal analysis.
