Senior AWS / Azure Automation Engineer (24486)

Are you skilled with AWS, or Azure, automation? With this major cloud software company you'll play a key role provisioning their cloud systems, and automating deployment to scale.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team of experts in this area, and have a key voice in design and development discussions regarding cloud systems architecture, operations and deployment. You’ll be the sort of person who keeps up to date on good practice and secure approaches and especially enjoys automating otherwise manual tasks. There are many hundreds of instances to manage as part of the role, so automation is essential.

Your concise CV will show your:

• Good degree in computing or a related subject, and respectable A-level grades
• Experience as an operations engineer working commercially with AWS or Azure
• Good knowledge of AWS or Azure templates for deployment automation (e.g. CodeDeploy, AppSpec, ARM)
• Strong scripting ability with bash or PowerShell (C#), which you've applied to deployment

This role is open to AWS and Linux professionals, but will involve working with Windows Azure, hence experience with Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio, TFS or VSTS, C#, SQL Server and IIS is beneficial. Further experience with containers and orchestration is also an asset.
