Rust / Java Developer (24520)

With strong industry and university partnerships and having recently raised strategic investment to grow their engineering team, this US based start-up is setting up a second engineering team in Cambridge, UK.
The technology is based on a software platform ecosystem that impacts data analytics and machine learning applications through sophisticated edge computing.

They are currently looking for smart developers to join them.

Requirements:

• You’ll be bright – probably have a top academic profile with a background in computer science, maths or physics (and even a PhD).
• Interesting software development project experience working on scaled / distributed systems including network stacks, APIs and parsers.
• Will be happy coding with Java and may have exposure to Rust. Any familiarity with JavaScript would be desirable.

Prior experience working in a software start-up would be beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity for someone not risk-adverse to be an earlier joinee to this company, work on some really interesting problems and possibly reap huge rewards as the company flourishes.
