The role involves ensuring the reliability, fitness for purpose, and regulatory compliance of innovative industry-leading products for a wide range of business sectors such as medical devices, communications systems, and consumer electronics. You will lead a multi-disciplinary test team and co-ordinate the test effort, applying the most appropriate test methodology and breaking complex systems down into subcomponents as necessary to ensure the requisite coverage and level of confidence. The role also involves working with clients and regulators to determine their acceptance criteria and discuss the testing strategy for their projects.
This is varied role which will involve you in the use of a wide variety of technologies and in which you will play a key role in bringing many great product ideas to fruition. If you enjoy being involved with the latest technology (and breaking it), you'll enjoy this!
You will need:
- A relevant 1st or 2:1 degree from a well-respected university.
- Extensive commercial experience in testing complex systems and high tech products.
- A broad technical background, a collaborative outlook, and an innovative, can-do approach to problem solving.
- Ideally, a formal qualification in testing such as ISEB or ISTQB.
