Mathematical software engineers for music and broadcast industry

Our client is a world-leading provider of technology services to the broadcast industry, helping radio, TV and internet broadcasters to collect, manage and report data around their productions. Their Pattern Recognition team is expanding and they seek a bright Numerical Software Developer to join them.

The range of work includes development of existing algorithms, theoretical research, testing, system design and implementation to real world scenarios. You will have a keen interest in using software to analyse and draw useful results from large datasets.

A range of experience from recent PhD to experienced developer would be suitable.

You will be able to display the following skills and experience:-

  • First degree in a highly numerate topic (maths, theoretical physics or similar) from a well-ranked university
  • Programming experience; C++ and Python are preferred
  • Some experience of working with large data sets
