Sensor Technologist (24675)
An experienced Sensor Technologist is needed to support the integration and testing of our client’s revolutionary technology. You would be involved in the continuing evaluation and development of an advanced sensor platform, ensuring optimal performance of both existing and new sensors. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will need to be a proactive, hands-on problem solver, able to devise software tools and methods as needed to support your analysis.
This is a great chance to be a key player in a high profile project that will have a major impact on the way we live in future. To join the team you will need:
- A 1st or 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or appropriate scientific discipline from a well-respected university.
- Significant commercial experience in the application and evaluation of sensor technologies such as Radar, Lidar, Machine Vision, and GPS, preferably in a robotics context.
- Strong coding ability in Python and C++, including excellent command line Linux knowledge and experience of developing device drivers.
The role would be split between our client’s offices in Bristol with around a week per month on-site at a test facility in Eastern England.
