Are you looking for a role where you can address technical challenges across the whole extent of a software platform and genuinely contribute positively to ordinary people’s lives? This small company based in central London are looking for a Software Developer who will join them in their mission to disrupt the current status quo and have a positive impact on socioeconomics.

The Software Developer will join a team to design and implement scalable cloud solutions and develop responsive web apps to inform users via real-time analytics and enable control of hardware devices.

You will be a degree qualified Software Developer with at least a 2.1 in a technical subject from a highly-ranked university in the UK or overseas.

The client would like to see the following experience:-

Excellent knowledge of C# or Java
RESTful web service development
Full stack development using TDD and SOLID principles and when to apply them in practice
Experience in developing cloud applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Some knowledge of JavaScript development in e.g. Angular, React, Vue
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and data warehousing

Any additional experience with IoT devices, Containers and/or Serverless, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code would also be of interest.

As the company garners sales successes in the UK and abroad, they will enter new development phases which will challenge the current technology. This new role of Software Developer will be a critical part of the R&D department in this development.
