They sit at the interface of biometrics and technology and are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and experienced software engineers who specialise in backend development to join their growing team.

The Software Engineer will be involved in architecting, designing and deploying services that will be relied upon by millions. You will be expected to utilise best practises in continuous integration and delivery, as well as assisting with optimisation, testing and tooling. In the role of Software Engineer, you will also be expected to have a significant interest in security design, ensuring our client’s software and systems meet the highest security standards.

Essential skills and experience to succeed in this role include:

  • At least 3 years of commercial experience in a product driven environment
  • A good background in cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience of writing distributed, high-volume services in Java or Kotlin and
  • A deep understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms, coupled with good skills in data modelling, data analysis and data storage techniques
  • A good degree in Computer Science or similar technical subject, backed up by solid A-level grades.

You will also need to have full permission to live and work in the UK without time limit, restriction or sponsorship.
