This company is a successful technology pioneer, providing powerful data analysis and processing capabilities to clients worldwide. Their expertise has been applied to projects as diverse as categorising social media in real-time, preventing drug delivery failures in healthcare, improving efficiency of manufacturing processes or processing complex audio data to improve accessibility. They are now seeking a Developer experienced with applying modern Machine Learning techniques to join their established team just outside Cambridge.

The successful Machine Learning Developer will have a top academic background, with at least a 2.1 Honours degree in a numerate subject from a top-ranking university. On top of that, commercial experience with a wide technology stack, applying Machine Learning techniques to a broad range of real-world projects is crucial. The ability to pick up new concepts and quickly progress from analysing a problem to a working and efficient prototype is also important to demonstrate.

Specific technologies and languages evidenced in your CV should include many of:

• Java, Scala, C# or Python (incl. libraries such as TensorFlow or OpenCV);
• Hadoop, Spark, or similar ‘big data’ environments;
• React, Kibana or ElasticSearch for visualisation / reporting.
  Further evidence of an active interest in Machine Learning through hobby projects or GitHub / online portfolio pages would be highly relevant. Candidates should also already have permission to work in the UK without limitation or the need for sponsorship.
