Cloud Developer / DevOps (24713)
This role is more development orientated as you will be working alongside a mixed team of software engineers and electronics designers. The analogue designs are highly complex, requiring custom software to create the detail. This is an evolving, computationally hungry system which will require a growing AWS environment, typically EC2.
As a Senior DevOps or Cloud Developer you will have good experience architecting cloud based systems and keeping them running. You will need to possess good people skills and a willingness to assist the analogue designers with a cloud concept that is new territory to them. You will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of infrastructure as a code
- Knowledge of configuration as a code
- The combined practices of continuous integration and continuous delivery, CICD
- Substantial cloud experience e.g., AWS, EC2
- The ability to explain Git / Concourse to non version control users
- You are also a coder, probably in Python
Our client is an early stage startup with a strong management team on board. They have developed a new concept that is attracting a lot of interest from companies wishing to get their designs to market quicker. They now seek DevOps assistance as they build the team; they are open to considering less experienced people for this role.
As part of a capable and enthusiastic team, you will contribute to the creation of a new concept in analogue design. Their product will change the approach used in analogue design in custom devices.
