Senior Product Champion (24792)

An already well-established technology leader in Cambridge is expanding into new markets and is seeking an experienced, Senior Product Champion to contribute to building the strategy for their new products. In an important, key position, this could be your chance to influence and define world leading designs and help to shape the future of an exciting and successful business.

The role involves identifying new markets and product areas, then building business cases for new potential products by researching and analysing market data. You would present your case to management and if successful, you would become responsible for promoting, guiding and championing the product through the product approval cycle.

Another important aspect of the role will be engaging with both new and existing customers, to promote products, or to discuss possible developments tailored to the changing needs of the customer.

To excel in this role you will need:

• A background in the semiconductor industry – this is a must
• Experience in a technical, customer-facing role
• Experience of identifying markets and taking technical products from concept through to manufacture
• A true enthusiasm and appetite for innovative technology, such as augmented / virtual reality

You will also need a good degree (2.1 or above) in a technical or scientific subject from a top university, together with strong A-level grades. Full permission to live and work in the UK without time limit, restriction or sponsorship will also be required.
