Pre-Sales Software Consultant (24849)

This is a rare opportunity for a Software Engineer to join this high-tech company in a business focused role. The work is self-contained projects with short-lifecycles that have high impact to the business. Responsibilities will include: developing prototypes and proof-of-concept applications based on the company’s pioneering tools; feasibility demonstrations; data integration; and disseminating technical product features.

Requirements:

• Full web stack development experience including a pragmatic approach to product application.
• Demonstrable software engineering projects using modern technologies and tools including a good use of modern software development approaches.
• Strong understanding of web application development.
• Strong preference for experience with JavaScript and associated technologies and frameworks (including node.js, ES6, React and Angular). Use of other technologies will be considered, but applicants must then have the aptitude and interest in working with JavaScript.
• Any experience with graph technologies, databases or data visualisation is desirable.

As this is a client-facing role, past experience in a similar type of position would be beneficial. It is expected that interested applicants have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with people, and have the understanding and empathy to make positive advancements. Further the role is highly suited to someone who enjoys looking at the "bigger picture" and appreciates the use of software applications to the end user.

In return, an excellent remuneration package is available including a healthy base salary topped with further incentives.
