Numerate Strategy Analyst (24885)

This boutique strategy consultancy is looking for top individuals to join them as Analysts with career development leading them to be promoted to consultants within the team. This is not a backroom, number-crunching role where all you do is reports and look through figures - there’s close involvement with project leads, developing your applied skills, professional communications and experience.

Requirements:

• Top qualifications (A*s at Maths and either Physics or Further Maths at A-level, or 7 at advanced level IB Maths (overall IB score of 40+); 1st Class degree in maths, (theoretical) physics or general engineering from a Russell Group recognised university (or top ranked university outside the UK). Additional postgraduate degrees in maths or similar (Masters or PhD) would be desirable.
• Strong numerate skills including understanding of quantitative analysis, Bayesian theory and general statistics. An interest in financial statistics would be advantageous.
• Internship experience in management consultancy, financial services industry would be beneficial.

Interested applicants must be comfortable communicating their work in reports and through presentations. They must also be available to travel (client meetings will be international - Europe, Asia, Oceania, Middle East and South America). Therefore any additional fluency in relevant foreign languages would be useful.

Successful candidates will join similar graduates, working in small teams with highly experienced consultants. In return, an excellent remuneration package is available with the incentives and bonuses for rapid progression.
