Joining a small tight-knit developing world-leading maritime technology. The role offers considerable variety and involves collecting data, refining and implementing algorithms for complex data processing, performing demonstrations, and preparing and presenting conference papers. There is ample scope for both UK-wide, and (voluntary) international travel.
Our client is well-established organisation developing technology that underpins a vital public service. You will need the following skills and experience:
- A 2:1 or above degree in Electronics, Computer Science or similarly applicable subject from a well-recognised university
- Significant commercial software development experience, and solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile principles
- Excellent coding skills in C#, C++, Java or Python. With database, REST API, and web development skills also being highly prized
- Strong communication skills, and collaborative hands-on approach
