Data Engineer (24996)

In this role the systems you design will process terabytes of new data each day; the whole system is heading to petabytes. To handle this you will need experience of the Hadoop ecosystem of tools or the AWS equivalents.

As the Data Engineer you will have good experience developing cloud based systems. This will be combined with a solid understanding of DevOps principles and approach. Fundamentals can be backed up by excellent grades and a top engineering degree from a well-known and respected university. Further, in your career so far you will have gained experience in most of the following:

• Excellent knowledge of Hadoop or AWS equivalents
• Previous experience in the design of scalable systems
• Good working knowledge of containerizing applications and workloads
• Solid experience of DevOps approaches
