Use your broad materials knowledge across wide-ranging technical projects

This dynamic Cambridge consultancy seeks a client-facing hands-on materials scientist to join their team and face challenging R&D projects within the consumer, medical and manufacturing markets. The projects involve taking an holistic view to understand the underlying technical problems before using scientific insight and creativity to address the challenge. The variety and complexity of projects provides an environment of continual learning and further development for each member of the team.

To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent commercial experience in complex product development; your first degree will also be from a well-regarded world-class university. You will have a wide-ranging knowledge of materials including polymers, surface chemistry, mechanical properties, and be able to express that knowledge clearly to clients and colleagues through verbal presentation and written documentation.
