Java Software Platform Engineer (25011)

This company are pioneering an advanced analytics platform for the hyperconnected infrastructure of the future. As smart devices offer more advanced services to users and more and more data streams come online, next generation platforms are required to address new needs and new applications.

They’re seeking a skilled Java software engineer who is motivated to get involved with significant and challenging work on a cloud platform for scalable data processing and analytics.

Ideally, you will have experience building RESTful HTTPS web services in Java, on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and even better if you’re using NoSQL databases in production. You’ll have worked with Java systems in which data and the flow of datastreams are significant. You’ll also have a strong technical degree from a top university and corresponding A-level grades.

This is a positive and collaborative workplace where people take a proactive approach to problem solving. The goal is testable and maintainable code, written defensively, which takes good advantage of existing frameworks and tools, and which is easy to configure and transparent enough to monitor in real-time in production scenarios.
