Software Developer, Experienced to Principal (25094)

This Cambridge team is part of a global company without the red tape, and they have retained great autonomy and a small company feel. They will rewrite rather than prop up legacy code, and have done so, successfully. You will need:

• Experience as a commercial developer, with all that customarily entails (capturing and meeting requirements, across the full life cycle, collaboratively, applying OO and SOLID techniques and testing your own code)
• To be capable of discussing and designing the best ways to make software (process, design and architecture, UX)
• To want to build highly usable applications for the cloud, with a Windows desktop interface

You will know or be happy to be trained in, C# and the .NET Framework – if you work in Java, or C++, or any other mainstream language, and have never touched C#, that’s fine!

If you really want to go overboard, we’d love to see experience in: ASP.NET MVC Core, Azure, WCF, React, JavaScript and/or SQL Server. If you’re great with maths or stats, tell us.
