Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to head up a small team of developers and testers working in an agile environment.

The role will involve aspects including project management, line management and mentoring, but you’ll also be able to pitch in and write code if needed.

With a good academic background and communication skills, your experience will include:

• Leading a commercial software team
• A software development background, ideally with both front-end and back-end experience
• Knowledge of what it takes to build secure systems at scale
• Python, Java or Go experience are a bonus
