Have you finished your degree or close to completing your doctorate? Are you keen to take your first steps in your career and work in the technology sector? Our client is looking for Graduate / PhD Technologists to join their thriving group in Cambridge. Within this well-supported team, members will work on varied projects that have real-world impact. These can include problems involving software applications in Machine Learning, AI and Big Data.

Requirements:

  • Interested applicants are expected to be bright – will have a strong history of high academic achievement (A*/A at A-level including maths and physics, and a 1st class degree in maths, physics or computer science; an advanced degree holder (PhD / MSc) would be desirable).
  • Experience with software technologies – ideally Python, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript. Applications should demonstrate project experience through internships, hobby projects, and / or extensive academic projects (PhD, Masters). A well-maintained github account would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrable evidence of a strong aptitude in numerate / technical problem solving – this can be through Kaggle or participating in Project Euler (or similar).

As projects will be working with others, good communication skills are required. In return, as well as the interesting work, a good compensation package is available.
