A rare combination of a very technical role with people skills

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent PhD to utilise their knowledge of ASIC/FPGA tools especially verification languages including Verilog, VHDL, and System Verilog as an Applications Engineer. In the role you will act as the conduit between customers and software engineers, dealing with technical support issues; this could be via phone, email or at a customer’s site.

Alternatively you maybe a graduate with a couple of years' experience working as an ASIC/FPGA design engineer and would prefer a customer facing role.

Requirements:-

  • A degree in Electronic Engineering or similar is required
  • Experience of Verilog or VHDL
  • A working knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems
  • Excellent communication skills and impressive ability to deliver technical information

The role will allow you to build up substantial knowledge of the ASIC and FPGA development process. Initially this will focus on the verification stages of the overall process. The position may offer opportunities to travel to other offices and customer locations throughout Europe and the USA.
