Graduate Front End Developer (25304)
This is an opportunity for a bright graduate coding enthusiast who wants to start a commercial career as a Front End Developer.
This role is with a rapidly growing Cambridge start-up in the field of high performance networking and consumer electronics. As a Front End Developer, you would be involved in building stylish and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Working within a fast-paced and supportive company culture, you would have the opportunity to learn the craft of software engineering from expert colleagues, and to expand your skills beyond web and mobile app development by getting involved in other areas of their software stack.
You will need a good degree in an applicable subject such as Computer Science, but more importantly, you will be able to demonstrate your long-standing passion for coding with multiple non-trivial academic, hobby, or open-source projects. Links to code on GitHub or similar repositories would be ideal. A history of incremental commits will highlight your understanding of change control and software engineering practice, and will be a bonus for you application.
