Cambridge
to £60,000 DoE + Benefits

Hey there! This is just one of many top career opportunities ECM can suggest — if this job isn't right for you, let us do the hard work! Tell us what you're looking for and we'll start searching for you. We promise to treat your CV as strictly confidential.

Work with a QA team to write automated tests for software security

Based in central Cambridge, this R&D office is part of a multinational company. They work with their overseas colleagues to build highly-regarded software security products, but are given the freedom to complete and deliver projects. They currently are recruiting for an Automation Software Engineer to join their QA team and provide an experience in designing and writing automated tests.

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience working in a software QA team.
  • Technical skills in scripting and programming for test automation (ideally Python, C# and Selenium).
  • Experience with Windows and source control (Git).
  • Any exposure to Jenkins, or the underlying technology of web browsers is desirable.

Whilst a technical degree in Computer Science or similar would be viewed positively, relevant experience that can be demonstrated is more of interest.

In return, the company looks to support careers and provide a working environment tailored to assist you – this is through the adoption of the latest technology and hardware, as well as flexible working and free lunch at least once a week. Further, they provide an excellent remuneration package.
