With further growth, their exceptionally strong technical team in Cambridge now seek a talented, ambitious and self-motivated Technical Author to write highly technical user, reference and API documentation to support system administrators deploying their products.
Requirements include:
- Technical authoring experience in a software development environment writing material aimed at system administrators / software developers
- Degree or equivalent related experience
- Excellent writing skills
- Significant authoring experience with DocBook / XML
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML and CSS a plus
- An awareness of localisation / internationalisation considerations
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly
You will be writing technically challenging material for a technical audience. Ideally, you will have a background in Computer Science and have some knowledge of system software and virtualisation technology. Career development is diverse, and this is a great way to get involved from the ground up.
