This forward-thinking technical consultancy offer a supportive, bureaucracy-free environment. With further growth, they seek an experienced business development / sales consultant who can offer proven experience of technical consultancy along with, ideally, relevant knowledge of the national utilities market / regulations and associated technical standards.

You must also have a good technical grounding in physics, electronics and product development (good physics A level minimum, ideally science or engineering oriented degree) along with excellent interpersonal / communication skills.

Interfacing directly to the technical team, you will take responsibility for the creation and development of solutions to technical problems; developing business and sales, generating intellectual property and adding value. By its nature, the role will involve travel to client sites on a regular basis.
